Watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead and as he said, "Once you say to yourself you aren't going to eat for 60 days, it becomes a lot easier." I've made up my mind and like him, I hope that I don't cave.
The hard parts is that he did this for a documentary and knew he would be paid for his efforts and time. Juicing takes a great deal of time. I have temptations all around me while living at home with the world's best chef (my mother) preparing meals for everyone. While I am thankful for her amazing talents in the kitchen, my stomach does not thank me after the third bowl of gumbo that I will typically inhale.
So May 6th 2014, I plan to make a difference in my life and start eating and exercising religiously.
Why am I doing this?
I am writing the blog to hopefully help me hold myself accountable
I want to cleanse because...
I need to gain back my self control
I want to take responsibility for my diet
Stop making lazy decisions
lose weight
gain energy
live better
I'm guilty I would like a quick fix
I want to see results sooner than later and juicing seems to accomplish that
combat disease prior to being diagnosed
sugar/meat make me tired
cure myself
clothes fit better
confidence
clearer mind
eliminate back pain etc.
be more active in my community and life
become more educated in nutrition
be able to really enjoy fourth of july !!
study religion of fasting
STOP MY FOOD ADDICTION
exceptions: dates, I may have to order a salad or soup to look like a semi normal person?
possibly white wine 2 glass max
